A hiding for Fylkir
Beaten 0‑3 by KR, and beaten everywhere it matters. The inquest starts on the training pitch on Monday morning.

Jón Hrafn Barkarson is a medical away from Fylkir
The deal with Stjarnan is done in every sense but the one that puts him on the pitch. Nothing goes wrong at this stage, except on the occasions when it does.

Orri Sveinn Segatta in a row with a teammate
It was not about football and everybody who saw it knows that. Two men who have to play together on Saturday said things at Fylkir this week that will take longer than a week to unsay.

Fylkir promote Johann Saevarsson from within

One of our own: Arnor Eyjolfsson joins the Fylkir first team
Clubs spend fortunes looking for players and occasionally find one down the corridor. Arnor Eyjolfsson is that, and the reception he gets on his first appearance will be different in kind from the one any signing receives.

Hordur Adalsteinsson steps up from the Fylkir academy
There is no fee, no unveiling and no agent on the steps. Hordur Adalsteinsson has been at this club since he was a boy and is now, formally, one of the first-team squad — which for a local readership beats any signing of any size.

The manager makes an example of Ragnar Bragi Sveinsson
“If you cannot run for the shirt, somebody else will wear it.” No name was used and none was needed; every player in that room knew who it was for.
Boardroom10 Aug 2026
Nobody left the Fylkir dressing room in a hurry
The door stayed shut a long time after the final whistle. What was said in there is between them; whether it worked is between them and Saturday.
