Alverca agree $2.4M for Oumar Camara
The clubs have shaken hands with Vitoria Guimaraes; the player has not yet. Personal terms are next, and personal terms are where more deals die than anybody prints.

Alverca get their man
The chase for Sikou Niakaté ended with $7.4M changing hands and Braga out of reasons to say no. The supporters will judge the fee the only way that matters: on Saturdays.

Feirense come back empty-handed
The bid was some way short and Alverca did not need long over it. Nobody in the game reads a first refusal as the end of anything.

Alverca go back to the board over Oumar Camara
The number the board signed off was not enough. It has been asked again and raised its own offer to $2.8M — a club that wants Oumar Camara enough to be asked twice.

$7.4M for Sikou Niakaté, and Alverca supporters approve
Boards get told what they have done wrong for years and hear nothing on the days they get it right. This is one of those days: Sikou Niakaté from Braga for $7.4M, and a ticket office having a very good morning.

Alverca rebuffed over Gonzalo Pastor
Not now, not at any price the club was prepared to say out loud. Famalicao have kept their man, and Alverca go back to a list with one name crossed off it.

One of our own: Rafael Miranda joins the Alverca first team
Clubs spend fortunes looking for players and occasionally find one down the corridor. Rafael Miranda is that, and the reception he gets on his first appearance will be different in kind from the one any signing receives.
