Brown de Adrogué run riot against Villa San Carlos
4‑1, and the margin flattered nobody — it could have carried another goal or two without complaint. Afternoons like this are why people keep coming.

Bruno Báez scores twice — 8.79
Two goals and a mark of 8.79 to go with them. Strikers are judged on afternoons like this one and remembered for far fewer of them than people imagine.

Octavio Padovani scored one and made one — 7.78
Two of the goals had his name somewhere on them, which is the afternoon a manager wants from anybody asked to both create and finish. 7.78, and 2 involvements.

One of our own: Carlos Alberto Ramírez joins the Brown de Adrogué first team
Clubs spend fortunes looking for players and occasionally find one down the corridor. Carlos Alberto Ramírez is that, and the reception he gets on his first appearance will be different in kind from the one any signing receives.

Diego Vázquez steps up from the Brown de Adrogué academy
There is no fee, no unveiling and no agent on the steps. Diego Vázquez has been at this club since he was a boy and is now, formally, one of the first-team squad — which for a local readership beats any signing of any size.
