Time is catching up with Junior Alves

Everybody at Parnu saw it before anybody said it, which is how this always goes. At 36 the decline is real and measurable — 3 points — and the only question left is how the club handles somebody it owes a great deal to.

A falling-out at Parnu

Ken Mets and a teammate went at it, and not about football. Training grounds are small places and a long season makes them smaller.

Squad19 Oct 2026

A season on the outside for Neguete

He trains hard, says the right things and goes home to an empty flat. Nobody at Parnu has done anything wrong, which is exactly what makes it so difficult to fix.

A falling-out at Parnu

Mark Anders Lepik and a teammate went at it, and not about football. Training grounds are small places and a long season makes them smaller.

Squad12 Oct 2026

Neguete is not the player he was

It happens to all of them and it is still the hardest paragraph a local paper has to write. 36 years old, 3 points down on where he was, and a body that has started charging interest on a career.

Squad12 Oct 2026

Junior Alves has outgrown this division

There is a level at which a footballer stops being tested and starts being contained, and he reached it some time ago. Parnu know it, and so does everybody who watches him.

Talks stall between Parnu and Alfredo

“We are a long way apart, and pretending otherwise helps nobody.” Neither side is close, and the calendar is not on the club's side.

Squad12 Oct 2026

Too much change too quickly at Parnu

18 signings in three months. Every one of them may be an upgrade and the team can still be worse for a while, which is the part of a rebuild that never appears in the transfer-window verdicts.

Gleibson brings the grey hairs Parnu lacked

At 39, he has seen every situation this season can produce, twice. The legs will be managed; the head is the purchase.

Ken Igonen breaks a bone — 15 days out

Brutal, unambiguous and, for all the horror of the moment, usually less career-shaped than the ligament everybody fears more. 15 days, a clean timeline, and a return date somebody can actually plan around.

Squad5 Oct 2026

Neguete stays put

“The easiest signature of my career.” Neguete and Parnu agree another 2 years, and the manager can plan around him rather than about him.

Squad5 Oct 2026

Junior Alves in a row with a teammate

It was not about football and everybody who saw it knows that. Two men who have to play together on Saturday said things at Parnu this week that will take longer than a week to unsay.

Squad5 Oct 2026

The decline has begun for Alfredo

Everybody saw it before anybody said it. At 36 the numbers say 3 points down on what he was, and the question for Parnu is how to handle a man they owe a great deal.

Market5 Oct 2026

Parnu and Junior Alves are talking past each other

“There is a gap, and pretending there is not helps nobody.” Neither side has moved, and the calendar is working for exactly one of them.

Market5 Oct 2026

Experience through the door at Parnu

Junior Alves arrives at 36 with nothing left to prove and plenty left to pass on. Legs are a young man's currency; knowing where to stand never ages.
