The KTP Sentinel

Maksym Zhuk stands alone
9 saves, and a scoreline the ten men in front of him had no right to. Goalkeepers only get noticed on the bad days; this was one of the other ones.

A fracture rules Onni Hamalainen out for 70 days
Bones knit. That is the one merciful thing about this injury and the reason KTP will talk about it more openly than they would about a knee. He will be back, and roughly when they say.
Match21 Aug 2027
No end in sight to KTP's wait for a win
7 matches now without a victory, and the excuses have worn thinner than the patience. Somebody at KTP has to find a result from somewhere.
Boardroom23 Aug 2027
KTP close the window on a squad of their own making
13 in and 2 out, and no more changes for months. The manager has what he has, the supporters have their opinion of it, and the table will have the last word.

Too dear: KTP walk away from Arttu Heinonen
$1.8M was the most the club would pay and KuPS were asking for more. Deals like this are revived in the last week of a window roughly half the time, and everybody involved knows it.

VPS tell KTP: Tijjani Mohammed is not for sale
The approach was made and the answer came back in a sentence. There is no number on the table because there was no number that would have been enough.
The dugout23 Aug 2027
The manager makes an example of Timi Lahti
“If you cannot run for the shirt, somebody else will wear it.” No name was used and none was needed; every player in that room knew who it was for.
Player ratings23 Aug 2027
Nothing got past Samuli Hölttä
Headers, blocks, tackles, interceptions — 19 of them, and not one goal behind him. The sort of performance that never makes a highlight reel and wins football matches.
Squad23 Aug 2027
Aapo Ruohio stays put
“The easiest signature of my career.” Aapo Ruohio and KTP agree another 4 years, and the manager can plan around him rather than about him.
