The wait goes on for AJ Auxerre
5 without a win now, and the ground has developed the special quiet of a crowd that expects the worst. One scrappy 1-0 would cure most of it; that is the maddening part.

AJ Auxerre promote Roger Meyer from within
The academy exists for exactly this morning. Roger Meyer has come through every age group the club runs and has now been handed a senior number, and the people who coached him at twelve will be the proudest in the building.

One of our own: Frédéric Roger joins the AJ Auxerre first team
Clubs spend fortunes looking for players and occasionally find one down the corridor. Frédéric Roger is that, and the reception he gets on his first appearance will be different in kind from the one any signing receives.

A bad afternoon for AJ Auxerre against Olympique Lyonnais
0‑1 to Olympique Lyonnais, and no complaints worth printing. The performance asked for nothing more than it got.

Lasso Coulibaly runs at them all day
Successful dribbles: 17. There is a particular sort of despair on a full-back's face by the seventieth minute, and it was on display.
