Sebastián González, 34, rolls back the years — 7.91
There is an age at which every good afternoon gets described as a throwback, which is unfair and also accurate. 7.91 at 34, and nobody on the pitch was better.

Guillermo Acosta in a row with a teammate
It was not about football and everybody who saw it knows that. Two men who have to play together on Saturday said things at San Martín SJ this week that will take longer than a week to unsay.

Franco Rojas steps up from the San Martín SJ academy
There is no fee, no unveiling and no agent on the steps. Franco Rojas has been at this club since he was a boy and is now, formally, one of the first-team squad — which for a local readership beats any signing of any size.

Franco Coronel gets it from the manager
“Nobody here is above being told.” It was not said with a name attached, but the dressing room can count, and so can everybody who was listening.

Luciano Riveros stays put
“The easiest signature of my career.” Luciano Riveros and San Martín SJ agree another 4 years, and the manager can plan around him rather than about him.
