A brace, and Edouard Michut takes the afternoon — 8.08
There is a particular kind of quiet from an away end watching one man score twice. Edouard Michut provided it, and the 8.08 beside his name is if anything generous to everybody else.

Mattijs Branderhorst keeps Fortuna Sittard in it on his own
Some afternoons a goalkeeper is the team. 6 saves, several of them the sort nobody expects to see stopped, and a scoreline that flatters everybody in front of him.

Samuel Bastien puts it in writing
“This is not anger. I have thought about it for months, and nothing that has happened lately changed my mind.” The request is on a desk at Fortuna Sittard, and it is not being withdrawn.

The paperwork begins on Jayden Siecker
A medical, a signature, a shirt held up in front of a sponsor’s board. Fortuna Sittard have done the hard part with Vitesse, and the part that remains is the part supporters actually see.

Tempers go at Fortuna Sittard
Jordan Bos was at the centre of it, and by the time it was pulled apart there were three or four others involved. Training grounds are small places and long seasons make them smaller.
Match14 Aug 2027
Edouard Michut among the goals in a wild afternoon
6 goals in one match, Edouard Michut on the scoresheet, and a scoreline that will look like a misprint. Neutrals could not have asked more of Fortuna Sittard and Feyenoord.
Match14 Aug 2027
Edouard Michut’s goal not enough for Fortuna Sittard
Edouard Michut scored, and precious little else went right: 2‑4 to Feyenoord, and a quiet walk to the dressing room.

Graduation day at Fortuna Sittard
5 boys move up, and somewhere in the building the people who coached them at twelve are quietly having the best morning of their working year. Nothing about this shows up in a result and it is why the academy exists.

Fortuna Sittard rebuffed over Juan Musso
Not now, not at any price the club was prepared to say out loud. Villarreal have kept their man, and Fortuna Sittard go back to a list with one name crossed off it.
