The Atenas Sentinel
Match13 Aug 2035
Full time on the season at Atenas
Position 13 on 13 points. Every season is a story and this is the last line of it, and now the club has three months to decide what the next one is about.

Only the photograph left for Lucas Fogaça
Fee agreed, terms agreed, medical booked. Lucas Fogaça will be somebody else’s player by the weekend, and around Atenas the goodbyes have quietly begun.
Boardroom13 Aug 2035
Lucas Fogaça signs for Rentistas while still at Atenas
The rules permit it and it stings anyway. Lucas Fogaça has agreed terms with Rentistas for the summer, and until then he pulls on this shirt as a player who has already chosen his next one.
Squad13 Aug 2035
A falling-out at Atenas
Matías Núñez and a teammate went at it, and not about football. Training grounds are small places and a long season makes them smaller.

Ferreira falls out with a teammate over standards
The oldest argument in any dressing room and the only one that is genuinely about football: one man thinks another is not putting enough in. It is also the row a manager privately does not mind having happened.
Player ratings13 Aug 2035
Lucas Fogaça was on a different afternoon to everybody else
8.41. There are performances a supporter describes to somebody who was not there and cannot quite convey; this was one, and the number does not help either.

The dugout13 Aug 2035
The team sheet said everything about Diego Cabrera
Warm-up bib, ninety minutes of watching, and a handshake at the end that fooled nobody. Big matches tell you who a manager trusts; this one told Diego Cabrera.
Squad13 Aug 2035
Facundo Gimenez out for 16 days
The medical room confirms 16 days on the sidelines for Facundo Gimenez, and a plan built around him now has to be rebuilt.
