FC Fredericia make Alberto Soro the dearest name in their history
$4.5M. Fees like that buy a footballer and rent a debate: every touch will be measured against the number for a season at least.

A brace, and Alberto Soro takes the afternoon — 8.75
There is a particular kind of quiet from an away end watching one man score twice. Alberto Soro provided it, and the 8.75 beside his name is if anything generous to everybody else.

Markus Solbakken is a FC Fredericia player
The fee is $1.8M, the contract is signed, and the argument about whether he is worth it can begin. AGF drove a hard bargain; time will say who won it.

Randers tell FC Fredericia: Elies Mahmoud is not for sale
The approach was made and the answer came back in a sentence. There is no number on the table because there was no number that would have been enough.

Alagie Saine due for a FC Fredericia medical
Everything agreed with AC Horsens, everything agreed with the player; a doctor is the only person left to persuade. The photograph is a day or two away.

Tempers go at FC Fredericia
Gustav Marcussen was at the centre of it, and by the time it was pulled apart there were three or four others involved. Training grounds are small places and long seasons make them smaller.

FC Fredericia find a way past Brondby
Brondby made FC Fredericia work for it, but the scoreboard read 3‑2 at the end and the table does not ask how.

The town asked, and FC Fredericia paid $4.5M
Alberto Soro was the name on every phone-in, and the club has gone and signed him for $4.5M. For one week the board can do no wrong, which is a week most boards never get.

One of their own: Jakob Jessen
He is 22 and the ground already sings his name, which is a thing that happens to local boys and almost never to signings. Everything from here is measured against an affection he did nothing to earn except be from here.
