Player ratings10 Aug 2026
Jorge Cabezas Hurtado scores twice — 8.06
Two goals and a mark of 8.06 to go with them. Strikers are judged on afternoons like this one and remembered for far fewer of them than people imagine.

A move Yhormar Hurtado would have made for nothing
There is a version of every career where the player ends up somewhere he chose rather than somewhere that chose him. Yhormar Hurtado is living that version at Deportes Tolima, and it tends to show in the first month.

Guillermo Celis signs on for more
“Some decisions take a long time. This one took ten minutes, and most of that was finding a pen.” Guillermo Celis and Deportes Tolima agree another 2 years.

Yhormar Hurtado comes home
The shirt still fits. Yhormar Hurtado is back at Deportes Tolima, and half the ground remembers him in these colours already. Some signings need selling to the town; this one sold itself.

Jeinner Fuentes attracts admirers
The name of Jeinner Fuentes has come up in conversations Deportes Tolima were not part of. Nothing formal, nothing signed — but nothing about it accidental either.

Deportes Tolima supporters have found a favourite in Jorge Cabezas Hurtado
There is a particular warmth a ground reserves for a 22-year-old it feels ownership of. Jorge Cabezas Hurtado has it now, and everything he does for the rest of his time here will be measured against the goodwill he was handed for free.

Bryan Rovira gets it from the manager
“Nobody here is above being told.” It was not said with a name attached, but the dressing room can count, and so can everybody who was listening.
Match8 Aug 2026
Deportes Tolima get the job done against Atletico Bucaramanga
A 2‑0 win over Atletico Bucaramanga, earned rather than given, and the sort of afternoon that sends everyone home talking about next week instead of this one.

Deportes Tolima promote Ivan Falcao from within
The academy exists for exactly this morning. Ivan Falcao has come through every age group the club runs and has now been handed a senior number, and the people who coached him at twelve will be the proudest in the building.
