Dro will not be coming to JS Saoura

Terms were offered and declined. Whether it was the wages, the role or the town, nobody at Paris Saint-Germain is saying, and nobody at JS Saoura is enjoying the guessing.

Constant Wayou in a row with a teammate

It was not about football and everybody who saw it knows that. Two men who have to play together on Saturday said things at JS Saoura this week that will take longer than a week to unsay.

LOSC Lille tell JS Saoura: Soriba Diaoune is not for sale

The approach was made and the answer came back in a sentence. There is no number on the table because there was no number that would have been enough.

Transfer targets17 Aug 2026

JS Saoura ask about Miguel Terceros

A loan enquiry to Santos: cover, or a look at somebody the club cannot afford to buy yet. Either way the answer will come back inside the week.

JS Saoura ask about Adama Bojang

A loan enquiry to Stade de Reims: cover, or a look at somebody the club cannot afford to buy yet. Either way the answer will come back inside the week.

Adel Tahrat asks for a word with the manager

“I would rather say it to his face than read about it.” The meeting was requested by the player, which tells you most of what you need to know.

Words exchanged at JS Saoura

Constant Wayou and a teammate said things this week that will take longer than a week to unsay. It was not about football, and both of them play on Saturday.

Transfer targets10 Aug 2026

Door shut on Abdallah Soliman

JS Saoura asked and Masr El Makasa said no without discussing a figure. It is the least ambiguous answer in football and the one clubs most often come back to test.

One of our own: Bilal Belkebla joins the JS Saoura first team

Clubs spend fortunes looking for players and occasionally find one down the corridor. Bilal Belkebla is that, and the reception he gets on his first appearance will be different in kind from the one any signing receives.

Said Belaili steps up from the JS Saoura academy

There is no fee, no unveiling and no agent on the steps. Said Belaili has been at this club since he was a boy and is now, formally, one of the first-team squad — which for a local readership beats any signing of any size.

One of our own: Adel Bennacer joins the JS Saoura first team

Clubs spend fortunes looking for players and occasionally find one down the corridor. Adel Bennacer is that, and the reception he gets on his first appearance will be different in kind from the one any signing receives.

Amine Soudani steps up from the JS Saoura academy

There is no fee, no unveiling and no agent on the steps. Amine Soudani has been at this club since he was a boy and is now, formally, one of the first-team squad — which for a local readership beats any signing of any size.

11 seasons of Mohamed Hammia

249 appearances across 11 seasons in these colours. Careers like that are not built any more, and JS Saoura know what they have.

Squad3 Aug 2026

Constant Wayou signs a new deal

“I never wanted to be anywhere else. There is unfinished business here.” Constant Wayou commits to JS Saoura for another 3 years.

Squad3 Aug 2026

A falling-out at JS Saoura

Constant Wayou and a teammate went at it, and not about football. Training grounds are small places and a long season makes them smaller.

Squad3 Aug 2026

A row about effort at JS Saoura

Somebody said out loud what several people thought about how hard another man trains, and Ismail Saadi was in the middle of it. The one dressing-room argument that is genuinely about football.

Still no ink between JS Saoura and Adel Bouchiba

“We keep meeting, and we keep leaving the room with the same numbers we walked in with.” Another round of talks at JS Saoura, another week without a signature from Adel Bouchiba.

JS Saoura ask about Soriba Diaoune

A loan enquiry to LOSC Lille: cover, or a look at somebody the club cannot afford to buy yet. Either way the answer will come back inside the week.
